Severe Thunderstorms Threat Returns Monday- Damaging Winds Gusts, Large Hail, & A Low End Tornado Risk

Severe thunderstorms are possible across the upper texas coast & southwest lousisana on monday September, 21, 2020. Primarily, this will be a damaging wind gust threat and a large hail risk. However, a brief tornado or two shouldn't be ruled out based on model runs and soundings.In the late afternoon, thunderstorms are expected to initiate across upper texas coast & southwest lousisana ahead of a developing squall line of severe thunderstorms. These small cells in front of the bigger line of severe storms would be greatest storms to become supercells and produce brief tornadoes.A 2% tornado threat exists in upper texas &    and a 2% tornado threat barely stretches into  southwest lousisana.
